Private sessions are an opportunity to receive detailed instruction and hands-on assistance, geared towards your individual needs and level of experience. Whether you are completely new to yoga, returning to yoga after some time away (or renewing your vow to do it more often!), or a more experienced student who wants to take your practice to the next level, private sessions are an excellent and effective way to meet your goals and enjoy the benefits of yoga.

How does it work?

Sessions are a one-on-one experience, much like personal fitness training. I will tailor our sessions to your specific needs. We will work on what makes sense for you, at your own pace, and at a time that is convenient for you.

I will meet you at your home or place of business. We will begin by discussing your needs, concerns, questions, and goals. Then we will work together, considering your individual situation, to develop a practice that is perfect for you.

About the session:

I start by really understanding what your needs and concerns are, if our sessions together are your only practice, or if you are wanting to learn poses to practice on your own. Everything is customized from there… Sometimes sessions are very therapeutic, where we would work to heal specific aspects of your body, mind or heart; other times they are fun, sweaty, and/or deeply relaxing. Sometimes we may address diet, meditation or lifestyle changes, but you are always the one setting the course. I view my job as helping you to recognize the teacher in you.
