If you’re new to yoga, private sessions are an excellent way to begin. If you’ve wanted to join a group class but feel intimidated or unsure where to start, private instruction will help you build confidence, understand the fundamentals, and find the right yoga style for you.

In private sessions, you will:

  • Learn the basics of yoga in a supportive, non-judgmental space
  • Develop confidence and familiarity with yoga poses, terminology, and techniques
  • Practice at a pace that works for you
  • Ask questions you may not feel comfortable asking in a group setting
  • Ensure proper alignment and safe movement
  • Learn at the right pace for you: ask questions when you like, take your time learning the poses, rest when you need to
  • Learn which type of yoga works best for you. There are many styles of yoga available; I can help you to understand the differences among them and recommend what types of yoga best meet your needs
  • Get a program tailored to you and your individual needs
  • Receive the support you need to begin your own yoga practice!
  • Build a foundation to comfortably transition into group classes (if desired)
  • Get the individual attention you need to succeed!
