Class Descriptions
Flowing Yoga
This class includes sequences of dynamic movements and static holds, with options to increase physical challenge and intensity. A favorite way to stretch and strengthen the body, connect with the breath, and cultivate a meditative approach to whatever arises – on or off the yoga mat!
** Props for this class: Two yoga blocks and a yoga blanket. If you don’t have those, get creative with pillows, towels, and blankets.
Gentle Yoga
This class helps to integrate mind, body, and spirit through gentle movements, stretches, and yoga postures – at a pace that allows time to be present in each. It’s a great way to learn/refine the fundamentals of yoga; to re-connect; and to relax, release tension, unwind, and de-stress!
** Props for this class: Two blocks, a yoga strap, and a yoga blanket. If you don’t have those, get creative with pillows, towels, and blankets.
Restorative Yoga
This class blends yin and restorative approaches to yoga into a meditative and restful experience. Each posture will be held for several minutes with the support of props, to invite a passive stretch and a deep state of relaxation. Slow down. Relax the body. Calm the mind. Quiet the nervous system. Allow recovery. Restore!
